You can easily find an answer concerning nearly any feature on our site by simply clicking your desired question or issue below. If you don't find an answer to your question, please feel free to contact us. |
| | | Why can't I copy and paste e-mail messages? | | | | We limit right-clicking on our site to control theft of member photos and other abuses. However, you may use keyboard commands for cut, copy, and paste (CTL-X, CTL-C, CTL-V in Windows and Command-X, Command-C, Command-V on the Mac). |
| | | I typed a long message and it doesn't appear to have been sent. | | | | You've probably been timed out and the system thought you were not coming back - therefore it logged you off.
If you are creating messages that will take a long time to write, we suggest that you first compose your message in another program, like Notepad in Windows, and then copy it over to our system once it is finished. |
| | | I accidentally deleted an e-mail message. How do I get it back?! | | | | Once you delete a message, it will remain in your Trash folder for three days. You can restore it by clicking the Mail tab, then Trash. click the box next to the message you'd like to restore and click the Restore Message(s) button. If the message has been permanently deleted, we have no way to recapture deleted mail. If we could, your private and deleted mail wouldn't ever truly be deleted! |
| | | I click on the Send Smile button, but nothing happens! | | | | One of two things could be happening:
1. Pop-up blocking software installed on your machine might be disabling this feature, as it pops up a small window confirming your action. 2. JavaScript has been disabled within your Web browser software. JavaScript is a language some Web pages use for functionality, yet other Web sites sometimes use it in an abusive manner. Our site uses JavaScript in very limited ways, yet the Send Smile feature will require JavaScript to be enabled. |
| | | When clicking the More Photos, Send Smile, or Add to Favorites button(s), nothing happens! | | | | Our site relies on JavaScript, a programming language built-in to most Web browsers. JavaScript is a language which gives us a little more power to display windows and Web pages in a more advanced fashion than relying on the standard HTML Web page language.
If you have an older Web browser or you have disabled JavaScript, these features will not work because they use JavaScript to pop-up a window which shows you the results of clicking the respective button(s). Because there are so many Web browser types and versions, it would be impossible for us to lead you through enabling this feature. Instead, please make sure you have the newest Web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox, for example) installed on your computer.
NOTE: Another leading cause of our site's buttons malfunctioning is pop-up blocking software. Pop-up blocking software blocks sites which abuse the JavaScript language and pop-up advertisements. That's a good thing! However, your pop-up blocking software may also be blocking our site's windows from popping-up with "More Photos", etc.. Check your pop-up blocking software (if installed) for features which will let you enable our site's pop-up features only. |
